AMEC Black & McDonald Limited, as Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Maintenance Contractor for ExxonMobil Sable Assets, is seeking qualified companies to conduct rigid pipeline span analysis on the unburied portion of a 26” pipeline. The unburied portion of the pipeline is approximately 110km in length and in water depths ranging from 30m to 135m. The analysis is to include the following activities:

·         Assessment of pipeline and seabed survey data;

·         Span Screening assessment;

·         Ultimate Limit State (ULS) Check;

·         Fatigue Calculation;

·         Finite Element Analysis Modeling;

·         Engineering Criticality Assessment (ECA)

To facilitate the analytical work, the successful bidder will be provided with, but not limited to, the following information:

·         Pipeline details;

·         Pipeline history;

·         Metocean data;

·         ROV survey results including video and processed data

 

All responses to this EOI must include the following:

  • Company name, parent company details (if applicable),
  • Contact details,
  • Key personnel information (inclusive of CV’s), company profile and description of related experience, and the past three (3) related projects (similar in magnitude, design and layout),
  • Details on Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality System (should meet the requirements of ISO 9001:2008),
  • Completion of attached EOI 82187-009978 Pipeline Span Analysis Questionnaire.  (Please Note:  Questions 1, 2 & 6 represent the minimum requirements companies must demonstrate they have the capacity for to be considered for inclusion on Bidders List that may be compiled from the responses to this EOI.).

Submissions received under this EOI will assist AMEC Black & McDonald to create a qualified Bidders List.  It is expected a contract for this work may be issued Q1 2011.

 Expressions of Interest must be received on or before 4:00pm AST, January 18, 2011.  Electronic submittal of EOI is acceptable.  Please ensure the EOI number is referenced in the subject line. Submittals shall be sent to janet.hamilton@amec.com . Time of submittal is deemed to be “Time of Receipt” in AMEC Black & McDonald system.  All paper submittals of the EOI shall be sent to:  AMEC Black & McDonald Limited, 11 Frazee Avenue, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia B3B 1Z4 and must be received prior to EOI closing time.
