AMEC Black & McDonald Supply Chain Policy

AMEC Black & McDonald operates in East Coast Canada across the provinces of Nova Scotia and Newfoundland within the offshore and onshore oil and gas business sectors.

As the procurement of goods and services is an integral part of the service package we deliver to our customers, the ability of AMEC Black & McDonald to manage this aspect of the business has a direct impact on the quality and value of services we deliver to our customers. This impact requires a strategic approach on behalf of AMEC Black & McDonald to supply chain management, including all aspects of specification, selection and delivery of products and services from source to the point of application.

Safety, Health and Environment

We have an important role in the supply chain to ensure the Safety, Health and Environment policies and goals of AMEC Black & McDonald and our customers are communicated to and acknowledged and accepted by our suppliers and service providers. We must ensure we achieve a level of alignment and assurance that provides confidence and that we are able to maintain the highest level of performance when managing third party involvement in our business.

Quality

The quality of goods and services we provide our customers is critical to the success of our business and to the integrity, and thus safety, of facilities we modify or maintain for our customers. Therefore, we will deal only with providers of goods and services who employ the appropriate quality management systems.

Business Ethics

AMEC Black & McDonald's reputation as a fair and ethical company is a value that will not be compromised. We will only do business with customers and suppliers of goods and services who have complimentary business ethics. We shall ensure confidentiality, security of information and proper relationships are established and maintained in order that we may sustain our ability to operate as an ethical business.

This strategy will provide our customers with the confidence necessary to trust their service provision requirements to AMEC Black & McDonald. Our suppliers and service contractors may enter into dealings with us knowing they will be fairly treated. The end result is a Supply Chain that provides quality, value and a positive experience for all parties involved.
