ABM Wins Sable Offshore EPCM and Decommissioning Services Contract
Saturday, May 14 2016
ABM has been awarded the Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Maintenance and Decommissioning Planning Services contract with ExxonMobil Canada Properties Sable Project. This contract award will ensure ABM is involved with the project thru the complete project life, into cessation of production and the final removal of the platforms.
ABM has supplied the project for the past 12 years providing superior customer service and flawless project delivery. A key factor in securing this work is the world class safety record of ABM. It doesn’t matter where people work – in the office, at the onshore plants or the harsh offshore environment everyone is committed to working safety – it’s a culture like no other! Celebrating 17 years without a lost time incident is no small feat and something everyone is extremely proud of.
The decommissioning scope of work will include planning for the cleaning and removal of the 5 offshore platforms, pipelines and the two onshore facilities and it will be the first major offshore deepwater assets to be decommissioned in Canada.
The skillsets and capabilities of the field personnel, engineers, technicians and management team at ABM is what differentiates us from the rest – “thinking outside of the box”, finding unique solutions and innovation – we must keep challenging ourselves to find fit-for-purpose solutions.
Although there are many factors and unknowns which will determine the end of production the one thing we know for certain is that we will be there until the end.
